Silence. Driving in complete silence on backroads staring at trees and butterflies.
Lifting. I didn’t even realize how much peace this would give me. The gym has become a sanctuary.
Walking. Nature is always one of my favorite places to decompress. Again, in silence, except for birds, they don’t bother me.
Kayaking. Ok seriously, this one needs to happen now that the season has opened up. I used to be terrified of being on the water – now it feels like another home.
Stargazing. Because I swear the answers are up there somewhere.
Music. There are songs on my playlist that have legitimately saved my life. If you don’t have a playlist that can pull you back from the brink, make one now.
Chocolate. Just saying. But also lots of protein.
Prayer. Last, and most important. God is there at the beginning, middle, and end of any demanding day. Even when I feel alone, at least I can talk to him.
